How to Be Incredibly Awesome on The Internets
I just had to post this here. It’s too good. The whole article is sarcastic, so understand that going in please :)
There’s some great gems of tips on being awesome on the Internets, such as:
You simply aren’t interesting enough in real life, so you’re going to have to make some changes if you want to make it online.
and…
Be sure to make MySpace the hub for all your online contacts. It is essential that your MySpace page be heavily altered and as long as possible, preferably with bright flashing colors somewhere in the background.
and…
…you’ll have to be online all the time, so you’re going to need a laptop and a smart-phone. The more expensive they are, the better; remember you want to show people in the real world that you are important online. The best way to do this is to buy a brand new 17 inch Apple Macbook Pro and an iPhone. Make sure you get the most expensive model of each. Pro is for professional, which is the image you want to portray.
