Budget, budget and budget 0
I haven’t started a single affiliate campaign this month. Why? I need to control my budget. I spent a little high last month to test some things, and ran my budget out early. Why would I pull in the reigns?
I just need to stick to my plan, that’s why. I don’t want to overspend and get myself into a desperation situation. I always want to have a comfortable money level in my reserves.
So, since I had to pull in the reigns for a couple weeks and not spend any Adwords money to stay within budget, what have I been doing?
I’ve basically been working on a couple Adsense based sites that I’ve had out there for a while, trying to drive some more traffic to them. I’ve got some new techniques and tools in my back pocket right now that are helping me to get a grip on driving some traffic to some adsense based sites. The particular sites that I’m focusing on definitely garner clicks, but they just need more traffic.
This has turned out to be a nice low-cost project for me that can bring in some return while I wait out the monthly cycle to again spend some more money on testing a campaign or two with Adwords.
What tool have I recently started using to drive traffic to my Adwords based sites? Bookmarking Demon, or BM Demon. I really like it. It makes bookmarking easy and automated, and has helped to ramp up the traffic to some of my sites. Along with some article marketing, I’m hoping that I can really ramp up the traffic to these particular sites.
