Holy crap, the Internet can be distracting 0
Alright. Here’s an example of why I always have to try so hard to stay focused.
The day starts off alright. I get up ready to do my thing as I usually do on a Sunday. Now it’s 6 hours later and where am I at?
Let’s see. I start out by checking some email. That leads me to reading all sorts of links and watching movie previews as suggested by people through email. Good stuff. Not too bad yet, just a slight distraction.
Alright then. Pretty soon I’m looking through Google Blog Search because I’m wanting to figure out what I gotta do to get some of my blogs to show up for high traffic keyword searches on there. About 2 hours later I’m finally done reading all kinds of interesting blog posts on various web sites.
Oh yeah, and I somehow got diverted and signed up for HootSuite, a Twitter account management tool. It’s pretty cool, by the way. I can schedule Tweets and easily manage and track multiple accounts through one interface.
At one point I had even downloaded a pencil animation app that can be used to sketch and animate drawing that look like pencil drawings.
And the whole time, I probably should have been working on some web development related stuff. Ah well. That’s just what happens some times.
