Bookmarking Demon 5 Review
Bookmarking Demon 5 has recently been released, and I upgraded to version 5 about 2 weeks ago. This is the latest and greatest version of this masterful social bookmarking automation software. I’ve been using it now for several days and am really liking the new features and overall approach.
What is Bookmarking Demon?
It’s an application that allows you to automate the process of setting up multiple random accounts on multiple social bookmarking sites. You can then submit your web pages masterfully – and in a white-hat, non-spammy fashion – to those various bookmarking sites.
You basically enter in the basic data for your web pages (title, tags, description) and then watch the magic. You don’t even have to watch the magic really. You can wander off and do something else because Bookmarking Demon is doing all the busy work for you. I personally like to go play guitar while the Demon is at work for me.
What do I like about the newest version of the Bookmark Demon?
Autosave. This is a nice feature. Version 5 seems to just be a lot more efficient to use overall, and not having to worry about saving all the time is nice.
Browser view. I found this to be annoying at first, but once I got used to it, it is really a nice new perspective on what is going on in the background. You basically get to watch the action taking place on the screen, you see the pages loaded, your account data and posts entered, and the bookmark submitted.
Threading. Multiple bookmarks being submitted simultaneously, this speeds up the process overall.
Email Validation. This allows you to enter your email account settings into the Bookmarking Demon application and it will automatically complete the validation process. If you’ve used past versions of Bookmarking Demon, you will know right off the bat that this can save you time.
Scheduling. If you use the bookmarking sites that don’t require captchas, you can schedule all kinds of bookmarking madness.
Installation
This application installed really easily for me. It actually sets up a desktop icon this time around. I’m running it on Windows Vista without any problems.
Worth the upgrade?
Yes, absolutely. If you are using Bookmarking Demon 4, and haven’t upgrade, you are fool – to put it bluntly. The bookmarking site list in version 4 is very out of date. Version 5 is fresh, and is very comprehensive in the amount of sites you can submit to.
Upgrading is free, so you have no excuse not to upgrade.
If you don’t have Bookmarking Demon, and you are trying to drive traffic to your web sites, you need to get it right now. It will make generating traffic to your web sites so much easier and painless.
