I spent a good chunk of time today just deleting stuff. Yep. Just deleting a whole bunch of stuff.
What kind of stuff? Files, web sites, sub-domains, ftp accounts. I had a whole bunch of failed projects that left behind remnants of web sites, landing pages, ftp accounts and server space. I basically just needed to wipe out a bunch of sites that weren’t worth my while anymore.
What was the criteria that I used to determine if the sites were worth my time? Return on investment. If they weren’t making my any money, or showing potential to do so, I got them out of the way.
The reason I cleaned house like this is because I needed to keep distractions out of the way. There was no reason to have all those sites in front of my whenever I was working on my overall goals. They were just a distraction.
